A layered balloon dress designed to enjoy the contrast of materials, crafted from a small-dot jacquard fabric woven with silk and polyester. Shape-retentive memory yarns in the polyester bring crisp volume, complemented by the subtle shine of silk in this Japan-made original textile. The design consists of two layers: an outer dark navy sleeveless balloon dress and an inner white tent-line dress. By fastening the tab hidden inside the hem of the outer dress to a button at the waist, one side lifts softly to create an asymmetrical, three-dimensional silhouette. As the wearer moves, the white inner dress appears, transforming the expression of the piece. The outer dress can also be worn on its own, allowing the silhouette to be freely adjusted to suit the occasion or mood.
