Beautiful waffle-woven tweed from British company LINTON, inspired by the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The black base fabric is rich in texture, and the contrast between the luxurious sparkling sequins and lurex represents beautiful plants in the darkness. A classic crew neck jacket with compact 3/4 sleeves. All parts are double fringed with a different grain and loosened by hand. The original black metal buttons are a subtle accent. A ribbed sleeveless top with a sheer look, made by alternating between a yarn made by twisting extremely small and rare 1mm sequins into a wool blend and a transparent yarn. Knits are usually started from the hem, but this is finished with a special technique called back knitting, which allows the knitting to start from the side and create a ruffle at the hem. The neckline is small and the bust is compact, the length is short, and the ruffles are an accent around the waist. It goes well with voluminous bottoms.
